Gas-Insulated Ring Main Unit
Details:
XGN58-12/24 Switchgear(SF6) is a kind of composite apparatus which seals all themain circuits switches in a metal enclosure and uses SF6 gas as arc-extinguishing and insulation medium. It is suitable for RMU and double radiation power supply in 12/24kV power supply circuit. The product is especially suitable for industrial and commercial zones or rural area, which have high-density power supply load and use cable feed network. Meanwhile, the RMU has the advantages of safe operation, no weather influence, easy installation, lttemaintenance and space saving, which is suitable to be installed in box-type substation. Each technical performance index conforms to iec62271-200:2003 and GB3906 standards.
Environmental conditions of use:
1 Ambient temperature: upper limit +40°C lower limit -15°C - daily average not greater than +35°C;
2 Ambient humidity: daily average relative humidity not more than 95% - monthly average relative humidity not more than 90%;
3 Altitude: Not more than 3000m above the sea level;
4 No apparent pollution of corrosive or combustible gas around. Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees;
5 The surrounding air should be free from obvious contamination such as corrosive, flammable gases or water vapour;
Note:If there are special requirements, they should be negotiated between the user and the manufacturer.
Key features:
1 The main electrical part of the indoor high-voltage SF6 load switch is sealed in an insulating shell made of epoxy resin and cast by the APG process, which has the advantages of good insulation performance and resistance to foul environments. The insulating shell consists of two insulating covers, one above and the other below, which are filled with 0.05Mpa SF6 gas, and the other below with an explosion-proof membrane. In case of internal failure, the high pressure gas is released from the membrane without causing damage to the operator or other parts. SF6 gas has good arc extinguishing performance, small size, high protection level, compact and simple structure, flexible operation. Not affected by external environment, small contact wear, long electrical life.
2 The ring main unit adopts metal enclosed box structure, the height is 160cm or 185cm main switch and cabinet for solid home installation method. The cabinet is separated into two parts, the upper part includes busbar room, switch room, low voltage room, the lower part is cable room (out of the cabinet including fuse) do not affect each other. This not only improves safety but also facilitates installation and maintenance, and enables the overall replacement of the upper unit when necessary.

4 The interlocking of the load switch, earth switch and lower door meets the requirements of the "Five Precautions":
5 When any phase fuse is blown, the load switch will be broken and cannot be closed again.
