Medium Voltage Power Cables (XLPE Insulated)

This product is suitable for fixed laying in AC 50HZ, rated voltage 35V and below on the power transmission and distribution lines for the transmission of electrical energy. Compared with Pvc Insulated Power Cables, XLPE Insulated power cable products not only have excellent electrical properties, mechanical properties, heat and ageing resistance, resistance to environmental stress and chemical corrosion resistance; but also simple structure, light weight, not restricted by the laying head, high long-term working temperature (90℃) and other characteristics.

I. Production execution standards

GB/T12706.1-2008-GB/T12706.3-2008 "Rated voltage 1KV (Um=1.2KV) to 35KV (Um=40.5kv) extruded insulated power cables" can also be produced according to customer needs, using IEC60502-2004 standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission.

II. Features of use

1. The permissible long-term operating temperature of the cable conductor is 90°C.

2. The maximum temperature of the cable conductor during a short circuit (maximum duration not exceeding 5 seconds) shall not exceed 250°C.

3. The ambient temperature at the time of laying of the cable shall not be lower than 0°C.

4. The minimum bending radius of the cable: not less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable for three-core cables and not less than 20 times the outer diameter of the cable for single-core cables.

5. The frequency rated voltage of the cable U0/U is 0.6/1KV - 26/35KV.

U0: The rated working frequency voltage between the conductors of the cable design to ground or to the metal shield, called phase voltage

U: The rated working frequency voltage between the conductors for which the cable is designed, called line voltage.

Um: Maximum value of the "maximum system voltage" that the equipment can withstand.
